In this workshop you will immerse yourself in the Pure and Healing sounds of Julie’s beautiful Crystal Singing Bowls and learn ways to clear obstacles and open channels for a clearer connection of your heart and your voice. We’ll be singing, chanting, listening and practicing yoga and vocal techniques for heart/voice opening and activation. Connecting to the Divine through your heart and voice is an elemental connection that is your birthright. An Ancient Story from the Sufi tradition points out the connections between life, breath, body and soul: When the Creator fashioned the human body, the human soul refused to enter because it didn’t want to take on the body’s limitations. The Creator then began to play music. In order to feel the fullness of this music through the senses and receptivity of the human form, the soul was coaxed into the body. The soul continues to receive its life from the Creator by breathing in this music....

Anyone and Everyone is invited! Join us in bringing smiles to some little faces as we make some valentines for patients at Children’s Mercy Hospital. Everyone is invited big and small and all you need is your wonderful self. If you would like to bring some construction paper and maybe some glitter or other valentine accoutrements then feel free to do so. You can come and make 1 valentine or 100 hundred valentines.
