05/30/2013 – I just returned from Boulder, Colorado for R&R and my own private Bhakti immersion for the past 5 days. I saw Krishna Das’ movie ‘One Track Heart,’ and I had daily harmonium lessons with Kate Spear while. I invited her to Learning2fly THIS Saturday, June 1 at 7 p.m. I want you to experience the presence and Shakti of this amazing woman! She’ll be the leading kirtan artist at the Telluride Yoga Festival next month. Come see why. For those that haven’t experienced a kirtan, be open minded and give it a try. Bhakti means devotion, so kirtan is a practice of setting your intention to open your heart and devote yourself fully to the beauty of your life. We do this through song. Kate will lead us, call and repeat, through a sacred experience that you can only really experience. I can talk and talk about my own experiences, but like one of my teachers says, if you want someone to taste chocolate, just give them a piece of chocolate. So I’m offering you a tasty piece of chocolate on Saturday June 1 at 7p.m. Donations are appreciated, but this is a free event. The link shows her bio. Jai! KIDS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.
